Yoga has numerous benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved muscle strength, increased blood flow, better posture, balance, and more! Learn about deep breathing and full body stretching to unite body and mind and promote relaxation. Please bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Limited extra yoga mats will be available for those who do not have one but still want to try something new!

Tai Chi for Beginners

The movements of the Chinese martial art Tai Chi can increase balance and flexibility, as well as reduce the risk of falling. This free twelve week class teaches participants ways to improve the health of their mind, body, and spirit through a series of slow, continuous movements. It does not matter how strong or flexible you are, as Tai Chi is designed for people at all levels of health.

Please call (405) 271-6424 for registration. Registration is required to attend.

This is the last session of a twelve week course. It is a makeup day for the library being closed on Memorial Day.

OKC Zoo: What Does the Flock Say?

Birds are some of the most talented...and NOISY...musicians in the critter kingdom, but what does all that tweeting, squawking, honking, and hooting really mean? We'll explore the difference between songs and calls, play "Name That Tune for Bird Brains", and meet a few critters along the way.

Neighborhood Arts: Lucas Ross

Join us at the library and by the end of the show you'll be laughing, singing, barking, buzzing and even playing air-banjo!
