Neighborhood Arts: Rhythmically Speaking

Sloan found a large rock dating back to the Cretaceous Period. But she quickly discovers that it is not a rock but an unhatched dinosaur egg. Willameana, the unsuccessful chief wants to use the egg to make an award-winning omelet. They both are determined to control the future of the egg.

Sensory Playtime

Spending time stimulating senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially and emotionally, physically and creatively. During this sensory play time, various stations will be set up and children can spend as much time as they would like at each one. Grownups will be encouraged to walk through each station with the child to encourage interaction and learning.

Sensory play can get messy, so please consider wearing old clothes.

Don't judge a book by the movie! Read it, see it, then talk about it! Read the pre-selected book and then join us for a big-screen showing of the film based on that book. We will discuss and compare.
