Come visit the Southern Oaks Library and enjoy "The Sounds of Jazz".  Enjoy our Summer Reading kickoff  by spending the afternoon listening to Jazz music featuring a Jazz Trio.  Sit back and relax listening to the cool sounds of Jazz. This musical experience explores the cultural diversity of America through jazz music.  Learn about the influence that New Orleans had on the development of this musical genre.

Sharing in parachute playtimes is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning and discover that the library is a destination for fun! Neighborhood Arts: Lucas Ross

TV's Lucas Ross (KFOR/KAUT's Rise and Shine, Ferguson's Donnie Commercials and more) takes you on a banjo adventure with songs, into a world where instruments are grown on trees, dogs pretend to be ninjas and bees that need your help! Join us at the library and by the end of the show you'll be laughing, singing, barking, buzzing and even playing air-banjo!

Admission by free ticket.  Tickets are handed out starting one hour before the program.  In most cases, we do not run out of space.
