Save up your energy and join us at your library to see how they build their wonderful world of music by blending elements of soul, rhythm & blues, disco, gospel and New Orleans street parade music. This will be a high energy rock show dance party experience that can only be described as a funky, foot-stompin’, hand-clappin’, body movin’ and groovin’ dance-until-you-drop party for all ages!

The Total Wellness program provides FREE interactive weight loss classes for Oklahoma County residents to help prevent diabetes and heart disease. Classes meet one hour every week for eight weeks. All class participants have a goal of losing 5% of their body weight and being more active.

OKC Zoo: What Does the Flock Say?

Birds are some of the most talented...and NOISY...musicians in the critter kingdom, but what does all that tweeting, squawking, honking, and hooting really mean? We'll explore the difference between songs and calls, play "Name That Tune for Bird Brains", and meet a few critters along the way.

Guitar Basics

Have a guitar that's just been collecting dust in the corner? Have you always wanted to learn, but didn't know where to begin? Well, dust off that guitar and join us on Wednesday nights for some basic, beginning guitar lessons! Learn how to navigate open chords and power chords, how to tune your guitar, how to read tablature, and much more. Discover your inner rockstar!

Participants are required to provide their own guitar. 

This is a seven week course; participants are required to register by the initial class on June 6. 

This is a recurring event that takes place every Wednesday evening throughout June and July.
