Guitar Basics

Have a guitar that's just been collecting dust in the corner? Have you always wanted to learn, but didn't know where to begin? Well, dust off that guitar and join us on Wednesday nights for some basic, beginning guitar lessons! Learn how to navigate open chords and power chords, how to tune your guitar, how to read tablature, and much more. Discover your inner rockstar!

Participants are required to provide their own guitar. 

This is a seven week course; participants are required to register by the initial class on June 6. 

This is a recurring event that takes place every Wednesday evening throughout June and July.

The building blocks of successful finances starts at the Downtown Library! Come compete with your friends as we budget and build our way to victory. Participants will build specific creations to accomplish specific tasks. The catch? They will have to purchase each block they want to use from the “Block Store” and save enough to make it through speed, strength, and endurance competitions.
