Have you always wanted to learn how to paint but didn't know where to start? Now is the time to channel your inner artist. Join us at the Southern Oaks Library for a Pop and Palette class. Artist, Jim Pourtorkan, will lead the class step by step to complete a colorful watercolor painting. Old fashioned soda pop will help get your creative juices flowing while you paint. All supplies will be provided. Participants must be 18 years or older.

Get ready to pack the dance floor, because here comes Sugar Free Allstars! This Grammy-featured, family funk super duo from OKC has been listed in Time magazine's top 12 family music acts in America. Save up your energy and join us at your library to see how they build their wonderful world of music by blending elements of soul, rhythm & blues, disco, gospel and New Orleans street parade music. This will be a high energy rock show dance party experience that can only be described as a funky, foot-stompin’, hand-clappin’, body movin’ and groovin’ dance-until-you-drop party for all ages! Admission by free ticket. Tickets will be handed out starting one hour before the program.

Second Monday Knitting Club
Interested in knitting or learning to knit? If so, bring your current project, or just bring yarn and knitting needles and we can teach you how to get started. The recommended yarn for beginners is "variegated worsted weight" and size 7 or 8 needles. Needles and yarn will be available for participants without supplies.

This is a recurring event and takes place on the second Monday of the month.
