The library is a great place to encourage reading readiness and early literacy, so burrow through our shelves and checkout our collection of nature books and DVDs.

Henna Tattoos

From Morocco to Maldives, henna is used to decorate and celebrate. Come join us as we practice the ancient art of Mehndi in a fun, laid back environment. We’ll learn the history of this incredible tradition and see how it is used throughout the Middle East and Indian subcontinent. We'll show you the “how” and the “why” and have plenty of library resources to help you along the way. All materials will be supplied. While you're here checkout the library's collection of makeup, henna, and art books available to you!

Note: Henna tattoos stain the skin for approximately 15-20 days, please make note that the library system is not liable for stained skin or clothing. Allergic reactions are rare, but can occur.
