Blind Date with a Book 2/8/2016 12:00:00 AM
Blind Date with a Book
Do you like surprises? Would you like help deciding what to read next? Are you distracted by cover art that inaccurately portrays the content of a book? Let us take away the trouble of a decision and set you up on a Blind Date with a book!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, we’ll select a variety of books, wrap them all up in ‘oh so secretive’ wrapping paper and you won’t know the identity of your blind date till you get it home. Will it be fiction or non-fiction -- Funny, informative, a mystery, or romance? It’s a literary guessing game! You may choose any wrapped book in our “Blind Date with a Book” display in the teen section and check it out before unwrapping! Fill out the questionnaire provided and turn it back in for a special surprise.

This event is held at multiple libraries.

Music Time with Miss Joy
Discover the power of music at the library! Come with your baby to sing, move, explore, and express to create beautiful music. While you're here, check out the library's collection of children's music to take home with you. This program is for Toddlers (ages 1 - 3 ), but younger or older siblings are welcome to attend!
